The ZKTeco F7-C is a biometric fingerprint terminal designed for both time and attendance tracking and access control applications. It can operate as a standalone device or be integrated into a larger security system.
Overview
The F7-C is a networked device that features a durable ZK Optical Sensor for fast and accurate fingerprint recognition. Depending on the model, it also supports optional ID card recognition. The device can be used with ZKTeco's ZKAccess 3.5 software for management, or integrated with third-party systems using its Wiegand output.

Installation and use
For a proper and safe installation, the user manual recommends the following:
- Cut off power before wiring.
- Connect the ground wire first.
- Mount the unit at a comfortable height, typically 4 to 5 feet from the floor.
- Power the device last, after all other wiring is complete.
- Use only a 12V DC 1.5Amp power supply.
Users can be enrolled using fingerprints or a password. The device will then use audio and visual cues to indicate whether a fingerprint is accepted or rejected. If configured, the F7-C can also provide real-time data export for time and attendance tracking.
