Overview of the PSA02
The PSA02 detects the presence of a vehicle via a change in inductance when the vehicle passes over a wire loop installed in the ground. It features two relays to provide output signals, allowing it to control a gate or barrier.

Wiring and installation guidelines
- Power: The unit operates on a specific voltage, such as 230V AC or 12V DC/AC. This is noted on the device's label.
- Loop wire: The manual recommends using a multi-strand copper core wire with a cross-section of at least 1 mm². The wire should be twisted with a minimum of 20 twists per meter to prevent interference.
- Loop installation: The wire loop is installed in channels cut into the ground at a depth of 30–50 mm. The number of turns required depends on the loop's perimeter.
- Connection: The loop wire must be strongly twisted and have a maximum length of 20 meters. It should be kept away from strong current sources to avoid interference.
- Relay output: Terminals 3 and 4 connect to the output relay, which signals that a vehicle is present.
How to configure sensitivity
- Locate the "Sensor" toggle switch on the front panel of the unit.
- Select the desired sensitivity level:
- L (Low): Lowest sensitivity.
- M (Medium): Medium sensitivity.
- H (High): Highest sensitivity.
- After adjusting the setting, the detector will automatically reset and recalibrate.
