Features and capabilities
The InBio160 panel is centered on biometric verification, though it also supports standard RFID card readers and passwords. The panel handles the fingerprint matching process locally, with readers transmitting fingerprint templates via RS485 for quick and accurate authentication.
- Advanced access control: The firmware includes features such as Anti-Passback, First-Card Opening, Multi-Card Opening, Duress Password Entry, and auxiliary input/output linkages.
- Networking: The controller can be easily installed on a network and supports both TCP/IP and RS-485 communication. The "Pro Plus" series also supports HTTP/HTTPS communication for added security.
- Expansion: The InBio160 Pro Plus is capable of connecting to up to eight IO expansion boards, which allow for a greater number of inputs and outputs.
