The Commax DRC-6ML/RF1 is a six-button outdoor video door station designed for multi-unit apartments and buildings. It features an integrated radio-frequency (RF) card reader for keyless entry and allows communication with individual residences.
Features and functions
- Capacity: The door station is equipped with six mechanical buttons, allowing a visitor to contact one of six separate apartments.
- Video capability: An integrated color camera provides a visual of the visitor to residents inside the building.
- Keyless entry: It includes a built-in RF reader that uses 13.56MHz cards for access control, so authorized residents can enter by simply tapping a card.
- Two-way communication: When a resident answers the call from the door camera on their indoor monitor, they can have a two-way audio conversation with the visitor.
- Door release: Residents can unlock the entrance door from their indoor monitor after verifying the visitor.
- Expansion: The system is expandable with a connection to a sub-panel, such as the DRC-24XM, to support more apartments if needed.
